Ibraham Hamidi
Founder & President
From an early age, Ibraham was fascinated by how things worked. His curiosity for structure, design, and the mechanics behind everyday systems naturally led him to pursue civil engineering. He later graduated with distinction from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, setting the foundation for a career built on precision and purpose.
He began his career with the Nebraska Department of Roads, inspecting and supervising major construction projects across the state. Those years taught him how to hold projects to a high standard, how infrastructure really serves a community, and how much care it takes to get the details right.
As Omaha grew, Ibraham saw a different kind of need emerging. Families were looking for well built homes in neighborhoods that felt like a good fit, and the city needed builders who cared about more than just square footage. In 2019, he founded Empire Estates with a simple idea in mind: combine solid engineering with thoughtful design so that every home feels both beautiful and reliable.
Today, Empire Estates reflects that vision. Ibraham is closely involved in each project, from the way a floor plan flows to the craftsmanship that shows up in small finishing touches. He understands that a home is where people build their lives, and he takes that responsibility seriously.
Looking ahead, he plans to expand into select commercial projects that support Omaha’s continued growth, while staying true to the values that guided him from the start. For Ibraham, building is not just about structures. It is about creating places that his clients are proud to call home and spaces that strengthen the community around them.
